EADTU amongst others focusses on open education and as such strongly supports activities related to OER, MOOCs and other educational provisions that enables access to quality education to all in need for higher education. Therefore EADTU supports the efforts of UNESCO and COL in their preparation of 2nd OER World Congress later this year.
The new Postgraduate Program of the Hellenic Open University Language Education for Refugees and Migrants (LRM) aims to provide specialized pedagogical knowledge to Greek and international teachers concerning learning and teaching second language to children and adults with a refugee or migrant background.
On 31 January – 1 February 2017, the first Maastricht Innovation in Higher Education Days will take place at EIPA in Maastricht, the Netherlands. Stakeholders will discuss the challenges and opportunities of internationalisation in higher education by new modes of teaching.
